De Armond Management Ltd is pleased to be working with The Center for Health Design and the Vancouver Island Health Authority as the official provider of specialized trips and excursions prior the Spring 2011 Pebble Colloquium.

Special Opportunities
Tea at the Fairmont Empress (1.0 - 1.5 hours)
Steeped in tradition, The Fairmont Empress has been serving Victoria's grandest tradition of Afternoon Tea for over a century. Visit the majestic lobby of this landmark hotel and experience England's most beloved ritual - the taking of Afternoon Tea. Tea is served between noon and 5 pm each day, with reservations available on the quarter hour. We have seatings available for Pebble's delegates on Sunday, May 1st, Monday May 2nd and Wednesday May 4th.

Butchart Gardens (3.5 hours)
A visit to Victoria is incomplete without a trip to the world renowned Butchart Gardens. Our trip departs from the Hotel Grand Pacific for the half hour transfer to the Gardens. On arrival at this stunning 100 year old garden you can visit the many beautiful "gardens within the gardens", including the signature Sunken Garden, the tranquil Japanese Gardens, the stately Italian Gardens and the aromatic Rose Garden, among many other special places. Butchart's beautiful sights and evocative scents soothe the spirit and inspire the green thumb. Choose your trip date.

Notes: Return transportation and gardens admission included. Trips are contingent upon achieving mininum group size.

Whale Watching (3.0 hrs)
Speed off-shore to traditional whale watching and marine animal viewing areas in the Race Rocks or San Juan Islands areas of the Straits of Juan de Fuca. High-speed catamaran boats feature covered, out of the weather seating, elevated viewing platform and an onboard washroom. Choose your excursion date and time.

- If you are interested in trips or excursions not listed here, please contact us as we will work with you to arrange small group or special trips.
- The Butchart Gardens trips require a minimum group size of 8 per trip. Should the minimum group size not be achieved a full refund will be offered.
